At the heart of Narcisse Taiji, perfumer Marie Hugentobler has created a distinctive composition around an exceptional raw material: the narcissus flower. This fragrance masterfully captures the strength and fragility of the narcissus, creating a sensual trail that is as powerful as it is floral.
While roses, jasmine and tuberose are well known in perfumery, narcissus is less so. With conviction and independence, Atelier Materi in partnership with Cosmo fragrances, has chosen this raw material for its unique, complex and unexpected facets, which bring together green, floral and animal notes.

To create the most refined perfume, our narcissus flowers are of exceptional quality, carefully cultivated on the Aubrac plateau in France. Nearly 1,600 kilograms of these wild flowers are needed to make one kilogram of Narcissus Absolute.
The flowers are hand-picked by local farmers using a traditional and unique technique known as “collecte au chariot”. This time-honoured method involves the careful collection of the flowers using a special cart, ensuring that each flower is harvested with the utmost care and precision. This process not only preserves the integrity and beauty of the flowers, but also their exquisite fragrance.

At our core, we are deeply committed to sustainable farming practices. By adhering to these principles, we not only help preserve the natural landscape of the Aubrac Plateau but also ensure the longevity of the narcissus fields, allowing future generations to continue to enjoy their beauty.
Our sustainable approach reflects our commitment to the environment and our passion for creating fragrances that are both luxurious and responsibly produced.
We invite you to experience the captivating allure of Narcisse Taiji, a testament to our commitment to quality, tradition and sustainability. A perfect balance, surprising and sensual, highlighting the opposing forces in this precious and multifaceted flower.
